In 1967 he joined Cream drummer Ginger Baker’s Air Force. With Paul and Linda McCartney he formed Wings. in 1971. Denny became Paul’s creative partner  with appearances on "Tug Of War,” and “Pipes of Peace.” Denny’s contributions to Wings albums' “Band On The Run," “Venus & Mars,” “Wings At The Speed of Sound,” “Wings Over America,” “London Town,” “Back To The Egg,” “Red Rose Speedway,” and “Wild Life” were integral to their sound.  "Band On the Run" includes many timeless songs in addition to the title track including  "Jet"  "Bluebird"  "Mrs. Vandebilt" "Let Me Roll It" "Helen Wheels," and "Picasso's Last Words (Drink to Me)."
